2degrees separates drivers from parking
Bad news for 2degrees drivers running low on change: our third mobile operator doesn’t support text-a-park.
An NBR staffer didn’t discover this inconvenience until she tried to pay for a park.
But the company told Private Bin it was “obvious” to 2degrees customers that “it’s not a service we provide”.
When, NBR first looked this afternoon, it could find nary a mention of this drawback on 2degrees’ website.
But now, if you wade in a few pages, you’ll find the qualifier: “Just one note, we’re still working on getting TXT-a-park up and running. We’ll update you as soon as we’ve got it sorted.”

How many companies advertise what services they don't have on their website.
If this is the same caliber of story as the ones NBR expect $300 a year to view then I am pleased I have not paid.
In Dec last year I used txt-a-park in Auckland CBD successfully.
I also called their customer care first and was eventually informed (after being put on hold for the cust serv rep to find out) that it does work.
It must be that time off year when there is hardly any news to print and sales are down. Go for the negative. That's why I refuse to buy newspapers.
I'm old school -- I've usually got $20 in change in the car...
There are times when nothing beats real money...
??????? at least their network don'st fall over.
I know you guys are supposed to be a business paper and 2degrees doesn't 'do' business (on account etc) but I'm struggling to remember the last good thing you said about them... this article passes as news?
NBR staffer has found a ID10T error
Yawn. This isn't newsworthy. Thanks for reminding me why I prefer reading the Herald and Dom Post.
