BeeGee Barry Gibb to headline NZ's biggest winery concert
Barry Gibb, the surviving member of 1970s disco band the Bee Gees, is to sing at next February’s Mission concert in Napier.
The winery concert is 21 years old next year and has played host to artists such as Sting, Rod Stewart and Ray Charles.
Each year close to 25,000 concertgoers snap up the tickets – sometimes within minutes.
James Erskine, chairman of Australian-based promoter Sports and Entertainment Ltd says Barry Gibb will perform in honour of his late brothers Robin and Maurice.
He will be supported by American singer/songwriter Carole King and the Wellington International Ukulele Orchestra.
