NBR was amused to receive the following out of office message this week. (Name removed to protect the sender's obvious lack of sporting prowess).

"Thank you for your message. I am currently at home resting with my leg in plaster (the result of a fielding mishap during a cricket match!).For urgent issues, please contact xxxxx. I’ll address all other inquiries and issues upon my return."

Polite and professional, but also adding some humour to the day, complete with clip-art pic of a guy in plaster.
