Google launches NZ search wiki
Google has added Wiki features to Google.co.nz later today, allowing users to share comments on search results, or bump sites up or down rankings. The move marks the first time Google has let humans tweak its search results.
When logged into a Google account, the Wiki capability will allow you to comment on web pages that appear in results, and use arrows to move a result up or down the search result ranking, or delete it. You can choose to keep your edits to yourself (slightly undermining the collective wisdom concept behind any given wiki), add them to the public SearchWiki, or click a link to see others' comments on a site.
Yahoo already offers a similar service called MyWeb - not available through yahooxtra.co.nz but directly accessible through myweb.yahoo.com.

I wonder if having a number of people promoting or demoting any particular search result will alter its overall search results when one searches without being logged into google? I suspect it will.
