PM's pre-election radio show referred to police
John Key's RadioLive show during last year's election campaign has been referred to the police. The Electoral Commission confirmed the move to NBR and a spokeswoman said the full decision will be on the Commission's website at 5pm.
While the decision has not been made public, and it is not due to be until later this afternoon, it is widely understood that Mr Key's show, which Labour lodged a complaint with the commission about, has been referred to the police for breaching the Broadcasting Act.
A spokeswoman for the PM said it was a matter for the police and the broadcaster and would not make any further comment.

What joy to be a career criminal in NZ right now. You have carte blanche to do as you please.
The cops are flat out preparing for their ahem 'terror trial'; most of the rest of them are writing extensive reports for the FBI on their training and special preparations for a SEAL-type raid on the biggest criminal mastermind to threaten the world since Bin Laden; and now for the handful which was turning the lights on in the cop shops around the country.....joy to the world....a lot of evidence taking and paper-chases to convict Dotcom's master-accomplice, John Key.
Get real. The gangs must have 'P' on special at the moment and be struggling to get all the unhindered deliveries through on time.
BS Bertie, don't forget all of the 'unhindered and protected' marijuana grow houses pumping out prime 'skunk' weed into the market to dull everyones senses down, keep them forgetful and then hook them on more sinister drugs like P whilst reserving the heroin supply for those 'wealthy' richlisters hooked on heroin.
Oh that's right NZ is one of the least corrupt countries in the world ... apparently. Yeah Right.
