POLL: NBR readers verdict on a four-year parliamentary term

The parliamentary term should be extended, according to an overwhelminging number of NBR ONLINE readers. 

In a poll of NBR subscribers last week, readers were asked: Should our parliamentary term be increased from three to four years? 

Eighty-eight percent said yes, while 12% disagreed.

But before implementing a four-year term, we need to tidy up the MMP thresholds nonsense so focal/glib self-interest/single-issue groups can't hold the other 80% of the country to ransom.
