Porn King Steve Crow's empire shrinks further

Two more Steve Crow-run companies - Vixen Direct and Erotica Expos - have gone into liquidation.

Liquidators at MeltzerMasonHeath have confirmed that the firm has been appointed following the shareholders decision to liquidate the companies.

However, searching either name on the Companies Office website will result in nothing as the names were changed three weeks prior to liquidation. Vixen Direct was changed to the seemingly random sequence of numbers Z4K74D while Erotica Expo has become Malibu Media.

Both companies are owned by CVC Group and the liquidated company's sole director is Steve Crow.

Last week NBR announced Steve Crow’s company Eden Media, formerly Vixen TV and Vixen Media, also owned by CVC Group Limited, was forced in to liquidation at the High Court at Auckland.

The application was made by printers PMP Maxum.

Mr Crow told NBR that the printers had gone after the wrong company and that the debt was actually owned by Vixen Direct.

But Mr Crow said that he believed magazines had a future in the shorterm because people preferred to read things in print.

“I probably spend $50 a month on magazines,” he added.

Mr Crow said that the internet readership of magazine NZX was still only a small proportion of the magazines readers.

He added that he was glad that he did not have to rely on advertising revenue because he understood getting in revenue was difficult at the moment.

I'm not sure if your article was meaning the sole director of CVC Grouyp ltd being Steve Crow, or if you were referring to the companies that went into liquidation. The article seems to infer that the sole director of CVC Group Ltd is Steve Crow. Actually a companies check shows that there are three directors John Carr, Steve Crow and Shirish Vagal. Do they now become partially liable. It apperas when googling Mr Carr he is a director of many companies one of them being the liquidated Brass Magazine.

Crow continuously bleats about how he's an independent thinker, outside the box, and couldn't give two hoots about what anyone says or thinks of him. Yet the minute he even whiffs there may be some negative press he goes into a snit about it or has a tantrum that anyone dare question him. So good job - he's a jerk and I wouldn't buy a bargain price used dildong from that loser.
