Revealed: South Auckland under the super city
Manukau Ward
The Manukau ward includes Auckland airport, Mangere, Middlemore and part of East Tamaki, with one local board for Mangere-Otahuhu and another for the Otara and Papatoetoe areas.
The commission said this meant the southern boundary moved to include Manukau CBD and the area bound by new State Highway 20, the western boundary moved westward to include Papaptoetoe cemetery and the Manukau memorial gardens, South Auckland Crematorium and the Puhinui Reserve. The eastern boundary was adjusted to include Flatbush.
Manurewa-Pakuranga Ward
This ward includes Red Hill, Weymouth, Takanini and Wiri. The northern boundary was moved south to exclude Manukau CBD,t he commission said, and the Southern boundary was shifted to parts of Druary are included “to avoid splitting community of interest”.
It has a separate local board for Manurewa and another for Papakura.

Will these changes mean a rise or fall in rates as some areas get banded into other desirable or less desirable areas.......

but originally from Onehuanga and i am 13 years of age....
i think having the supercity is realy stupid,
some people like the way auckland is.you say its going to better
but its not,
the parliament agreed on having the supercity not the whole of auckland.!!!!!!
ive asked my family about this and they are not really fond of it
what will when for those on benefit they need it for there kids,and other parents pays are going to be cut.....
just leave auckland as it is...
