Smartpay Ltd reported a $3.42 million loss in the year to March 31 and said it will not pay a dividend.

The bottom line loss compared to a $2.58m loss in the same period last year.

The merchant service provider said it was addressing its high overhead costs and the loss included a goodwill impairment of $419,000.
