NZX-50-listed company Steel&Tube Holdings has appointed Dave Taylor as a director and new chief executive officer.

Mr Taylor would take up his new role from October 5, the company said today.

He was joining Steel&Tube after 22 years with the BOC group, working in the United Kingdom, Korea and Sydney.

He would replace former chief executive officer Nick Calavrias, who retired in February after 19 years with the company.
