If you think wine connoisseurs are a bit precious then you should watch Jayson Bryant of the Wine Vault’s online TV show.

The show has already included guests such as Sir Robert Winston and TV presenters John Campbell and Oliver Driver.

Mr Bryant initially advertised how show through social media sites such as Twitter and Facebook.

Wine Vault TV concentrates solely on New Zealand wine with a bias towards Pinot Noir and Chardonnay. The purpose of the show is to let consumers “watch an honest appraisal of wine,” Mr Bryant said.

It’s a good time to be a Kiwi wine consumer as two recent bumper harvests have lead to a deluge of decent wine at affordable prices.
