Created by Masters student, William Horton, and opera singer, Julian Van Mellaerts, Namida Wasabi Spirit is the worldʼs first wasabiiintegrated spirit. It combines premium vodka – triple distilled, four times filtered – with 100% pure wasabi from New Zealand. The brand name, Namida, is Japanese for ʻtearsʼ and this drink certainly lives up to its reputation! We have won two international Wine and Spirits competitions and are currently selling in bars, restaurants and off-licenses in Northland, Auckland, Wellington, Central Otago and Dunedin, with distribution networks lined up in the UK, USA and South Africa.
