Techcrunch hacked in the wake of China's Gmail attack

You know the hackers are good when they break into a technology site as was the case when Techcrunch got slammed by cyber criminals.

On Monday, at about 10:30pm, the main site of Techcrunch was hacked and redirected. The site was briefly back up at 11:30pm but then went down again. Techcrunch said on its site that it regained control of the site at around 2am.

Finally - push Gmail for iPhone, Windows Mobile

Back in February, Google Sync was introduced, giving iPhone, Windows Mobile and Nokia Symbian 60 users real-time Calendar and Contacts updates.

Gmail was conspicuously absent from the instant notification service.

Today, Google plugged that gap, but only for iPhone and Windows mobile users (Nokia S60 users are stuck with Calendar and Contacts sync only; BlackBerry users get nothing.)

Google promises that Sync will work with your phone’s native email program so no extra software is needed.
