RIM has patched a security glitch that allowed hackers to take control of BlackBerry servers via rogue PDF email attachments.

The security scare concerned the BlackBerry Enterprise Server, used by telcos such as Telecom and Vodafone who host BlackBerry push email services, and large corporate who run their own, in-house BlackBerry systems.
