Search giant beats expectations; shares jump 13%

With the news that Mark Zuckerberg has bought social networking aggregator FriendFeed (for a rumoured $US50m), expect a reaction from Twitter (& Google) sooner rather than later.

FriendFeed was started by four former Google software engineers who are famous for developing Gmail, Google Maps, and even coining Google’s “Don’t be evil” catchphrase.
