Stock market operator NZX has boosted its annual dividend payment by 53% to 10c a share as strong revenue growth helped the company post an 18% rise in normalised net profit for the 2010 financial year.

NZ Windfarms seeking a 'commercial resolution'

Windflow and NZ Windfarms are both downplaying the latest Stock Exchange report that highlights “fundamental uncertainty” for the unique twin bladed turbine operator.

Wind farm operator NZ Windfarms,has a dispute with manufacturer, Windflow, about the certification process for the turbines and blames this on a delayed but essential capital raising.

NZ Windfarms claims it has been delivered some turbines that have different specifications from those being built to international IEC Certification specifications.

Rod Drury joins NZX board

Technology entrepreneur Rod Drury, best known as the founder and chief executive of online accounting software provider Xero, has become a director of NZX from today.

His first official role as an NZX director will be to address the final 2009 Global Entrepreneurship Week event at the NZX Centre on 20 November.

As well as Xero he has been involved in a number of other technology ventures.

He co-founded USA-based Context Connect and in 1995 established Glazier systems, a software development and consulting company that continues today as Intergen.
