Dutch GPS manufacturer TomTom has launched its car kit iPhone application that will go head-to-head in sales with its own devices, it was announced today.

The updated version that is compliant to New Zealand's amended Road User Changes can be bought at selected retailers and at the App Store. TomTom marketing manager Chris Kearney said the updated version would be free for existing TomTom app customers.
