Watch out TVNZ – Mediaworks tries double trouble TV switch

Mediaworks will be aiming both barrels at TVNZ next year by scrapping its youth and music C4 channel in favour of a new mainstream channel, Four.

At the same time, TV3’s target age group is being lifted to 25-54 years in bid take more mature audiences from TVNZ.

Viewers will notice some big changes, such as all children’s programming and some top shows (The Simpsons, America’s Top Model, Top Chef) moving from TV3 to Four, which will target 18-49 year-olds, the same as TV3 now.
