Western media has merely speculated that the golf super-star was fleeing his wife at the time of his Caddy crash.

But a Taiwanese news website, unhindered by its lack of any video, created the entire incident using computer generated images (CGI)

The Sims-style animation has been quickly picked up by TV broadcasters worldwide. 

The Woods crash saga continues to be a textbook case of everything that's right, and right, about journalism in the digital age.
