Telecom's $100K+ club

Paul Reynolds’ $7 million compensation has drawn all the headlines, but the telcos “lesser” salary bands are surprisingly well populated.

Telecom’s FY09 annual report reveals that the telco has recently reduced labour costs by 4%, largely through a pay freeze and head count reduction.

The report shows 2,865 of Telecom’s 8500 employees across Australasia earning more than $100,000.

For FY08, membership of the $100K+ club was a little lower at 2,505.

Hi NBR, can you please post a clearer picture? pretty bad quality.

and re hire at 20% less - great way to increase the bottom line as no one else is hiring and they'll all come back begging for a role!

what high class advice the bigwigs at telecom must be recieving about its high quality network and the happy guys that maintain it from these 100k plus boys.everything is so rosy in the garden of yes-men.

Get a life kevin,we are already paid 30% less than normal tradesman

whats a "normal tradesman" because i thought i was fairly normal and i miss this boat by a long shot.... all i got was the anchor :(
