Vodafone makes 30 staff redundant
Telcos aren't exempt from the ad/mark/media carnage.
Word's come our way from several sources that Vodafone has made 30 of its sales and marketing staff redundant (as flagged on NBR last month, via our Finnish friend at ZDNet).
But here's the weird twist – as a strange sort of "apology" gesture, the company organised bouquets of flowers for those with their heads on the chopping block.
Better than a kick up the bum, I suppose.
