If anyone still thinks Kim Dotcom's recent charm offensive is orchestrated by a PR machine, check out this tweet, posted at 7.36pm this evening to his 83,000 followers ( (it was deleted by Kim before 9.20pm, but not before being retweeted by many, and screen-grabbed by NBR):

That's a little raw by any professional public relations standard.
And it might have left members of his defence team a wee bit nervous too, as the alleged pirate alluded to in his next post (also deleted), in which Dotcom said he was "Waiting for a call from my lawyers about that last tweet".
It looks like he might have got one.

Twitter is dangerous. A good Kiwi friend told me this joke tonight and we laughed. I could not resist sharing it (stupid me). After about 30 minutes and two phone calls I felt like the kid that just broke grandma's favorite vase.
