71-year-old Horton Media ex-manager jailed for three years

Horton Media’s former general manager Norah Laurence (Laura) Tither has been sentenced to three years in prison after pleading guilty to stealing just over $645,500 from the commercial printer.

Tither (71) was sentenced in the Manukau District Court on Friday having earlier been convicted on three charges of theft over a 12-year period.

In sentencing, Judge Josephine Bouchier settled on a jail term of three years, with Tither expected to serve at least one year.
