Auckland women's fashion company embroiled in fraud allegations
The Serious Fraud Office is investigating an Auckland women’s clothing company, after it was put into liquidation owing creditors millions.
Catherine’s Fashionwear, registered since 2000 and based in Glenfield, was put into liquidation on 22 November.
Among other creditors, the company owes Heartland Bank $2.1 million and ANZ Bank $28,966.
The company is owned by Auckland businesswoman Catherine Mary Louise Casey, who – according to the Companies Office – has been the registered owner of four failed companies.
