Aussies learn more about wood in commercial buildings

A group of leading Australian commercial architects is visiting New Zealand to learn about using engineered wood in commercial buildings.

They are attending a national wood design seminar and the NZ Wood Resene Timber Design Awards.

They will visit manufacturing plants and some of the structures that have given New Zealand a reputation as a leader in engineered wood construction.

These include the Auckland Art Gallery, Massey University College of Creative Arts and Nelson-Marlborough Institute of Technology.
