Bosses come off worse in ERA costs awards

An employment lawyer has lifted the lid on what it really costs bosses to bring or defend a case in the Employment Relations Authority.

Findings, published in the latest edition of Employment Mediation, demonstrate it costs employers much more to succeed in the ERA.

And what they get back in costs awards is much less than on the employee or union side of the table.
