Briefcase: law firm ownership, Mad Butcher marketing and a scandal Truth will never know

Law firm managing partners and chief executives have mixed feelings about changing the rules regarding law firm ownership, as raised by Tomkins Wake CEO Richard Rowley and reported here last week. While some firms refuse to comment, as if they dealing with a matter of acute embarrassment, others are more forthcoming, although not always wanting attribution.

Next week, for instance, I’ll cover what Bell Gully’s chairman Roger Partridge has to say on the subject but there are varied views from others running major law firms.
