Care beds point of difference for Arvida

A point of difference of a pending retirement village float is its emphasis on care beds.

A recently registered prospectus is aimed at the owners of 19 aged care facilities which will be aggregated under the name Arvida (formerly Hercules).

A book build is under way with local brokers for a potential NZX public float.

The prospectus notes that Arvida has 48% of its units as care beds while Summerset has 20%, Ryman 37% and Metlifecare 8% (based on shareholder presentations).
