Michael Jones-backed Carl's Jr co wins court case against rival franchisee

A Carl’s Jr franchising company partly owned by former All Black Michael Jones has put court action against it on ice.

Franchisee company Forsgren, which the All Black legend owns a stake of, was taken to court earlier this month by consulting firm Retail Focus Group.

Forsgren has the rights to build up to eight Carl’s Jrs stores in New Zealand, while Starbucks, Pizza Hut and KFC rights holder Restaurant Brands also operates restaurants under the burger brand.
