Catherine's Fashionwear creditors $3.8m out of pocket as SFO investigation continues

Creditors, including Heartland Bank [NZX: HNZ], are unlikely to be paid after loaning millions to a trio of companies being investigated by the Serious Fraud Office.

As previously reported, Catherine’s Fashionwear, owned by Auckland businesswoman Catherine Casey and her husband David, and Apparel House, owned by Mrs Casey, were put into receivership in July 2013 and liquidation four months later.
