Companies Office suspends IPO-delaying changes

Plans for slower Companies Office processing times for prospectuses, which a law firm says could delay IPOs, are on hold.

On April 10, the Ministry of Business, Innovation and Employment told some companies it would impose slower times for registering securities documents, including prospectuses.

But the changes have been suspended after law firm Chapman Tripp complained.
