Company operating Nando’s NZ master franchise enters liquidation

The company that runs Nando's operations has been placed in liquidation with Derek Ah Sam of Rodgers Reidy appointed liquidator, according to Companies Office records.

Late last year, receivers Kare Johnstone and William Black, of McGrath Nicol Partners, were appointed by secured creditor Heartland Bank to take control of Shivram and its assets.

Shivram, which runs Nando’s New Zealand operations, owed Heartland $1.58 million at the time of the appointment. Stratton Consulting is also a secured creditor.
