Court rules against Wilson Parking in 'unconscionable' multimillion-dollar property deal
Wilson Parking must return a $15.5 million property to its original owner, following a court decision that says the car park operator acted in bad faith.
The Court of Appeal has dismissed an appeal from Wilson, New Zealand’s biggest privately owned car-parking company, over a dispute with a private developer. (see the judgment attached)
A company related to developer Mohsen Haghi had leased the Auckland inner-city carpark to Wilson under an agreement which gave Wilson the first right of refusal if it was sold.
