Dotcom fights for cash to pay $2.5 million legal bill

Kim Dotcom's lawyers are fighting for his money to be unlocked so they can be paid a legal bill they say is approaching $2.5 million.

It is understood Mr Dotcom's legal team have not been paid for numerous court appearances on his behalf since he was arrested for alleged copyright theft in January.

At Auckland High Court today, Justice Judith Potter is being asked to accept that the estimated legal bill, calculated by Mr Dotcom's lawyers, is reasonable.
