Dotcom loses court bid over search warrants
The Court of Appeal has tossed out a bid from internet entrepreneur Kim Dotcom to add the reasons why the search warrants used for the raid on his home were invalid.
In June 2012, High Court found the warrants used in the January 20, 2012 raid of Mr Dotcom’s Coatesville mansion were invalid.
The Attorney-General has appealed against that finding and an appeal will be heard in the Court of Appeal on November 28.
However Mr Dotcom’s lawyers wanted to add to the reasons why the search was invalid to help them in proceedings against the GCSB.
