The Economist reveals secret of NZ's success

The naysayers and doom merchants will tell you otherwise, but New Zealand is near top of the class in a ranking of world benchmarks.

The table, compiled by The Economist, measures nations based on global competitiveness, ease of doing business, global innovation, corruption perceptions, human development and prosperity.

All measures are based on respected league tables produced by the World Economic Forum, World Bank, INSEAD and the World Intellectual Property Organisation, Transparency International and the Legatum Institute.
