FMA mulls inquiry into listed company leaks after complaint

The Financial Markets Authority is considering an investigation into listed companies that intentionally leak market-sensitive information to analysts.

So-called “selective disclosures,” in which companies disclose confidential data at invitation-only briefings ahead of market announcements, made headlines across the Tasman earlier this week.
