David Moffett wants razor gang to save rugby

The ITM Cup should be amateur and New Zealand should lose at least one Super Rugby team to cut costs, former NZRU boss David Moffett says.

Deloitte's State of the Unions audit shows revenues for the 14 rugby unions plummeted over five years from $84 million to $68 million last year.

The audit reveals $15.2 million, or 22% of revenue, is spent on administration.
