Four wayward accountants face striking off

Four accountants – including disgraced finance company directors Rob Roest and Anthony Walpole Bowden – face being struck off from the register of chartered accountants.

The Institute of Chartered Accountants’ disciplinary tribunal yesterday heard separate cases against four members for a range of offences.

The other two were Tirau accountant Robert Bell and an accountant for a large retail chain who cannot be named because of an interim name suppression order.
