Fund manager declines to reveal size of CMT claim

The chairman of Fund Managers Canterbury, Don McBeath says he can’t comment on the extent of a claim by Trustees Executors.

Fund Managers Canterbury is administrator of Canterbury Mortgage Trust, which collapsed in 2008 owing investors $250 million.

Trustees Executors announced at the end of March it was filing a claim against the managers of the fund that they failed to comply with the terms of the mortgage management agreement.
