Gentrack boss on why his company is one to watch

Gentrack [NZX: GTK] chief executive James Docking admits the company’s listing timing is not perfect but stresses his profitable tech company is the one to watch.

The Auckland-based utility software provider made its NZX and ASX debut at midday today, after running an initial public offer that was priced at $2.40 a share mid-way through the book-build.

The company's shares immediately rose 7.5% above their offer price and are now sitting at $2.58 on the NZX.
