Good outcome in Dunajtschik case, Property Council says

The Property Council has congratulated Wellington investor Mark Dunajtschik over his court success in appealing against the Environment Court blocking his plans to demolish a heritage building.

He appealed to the High Court after the Environment Court forbade him to bulldoze the heritage-listed Harcourts building on Wellington’s Lambton Quay.

The High Court has ordered a re-hearing of the case to reconsider the public safety requirements.
