Govt agencies need to change mindset – Rennie warns

The public sector has been warned to expect a major mind-set change in order to deliver the government's better public services programme.

State services commissioner Iain Rennie told Wellington employers' chamber of commerce members it will take between three and five years to deliver.

He says his priorities are to responsibly manage the government's finances, build a more competitive and productive economy, and to deliver better public services.
