Hamstrung National deals winning hand to Maori over asset sales

A government decision to sign up to a highly contentious United Nations declaration could derail the asset sales process. 

According to foremost political strategist and former long-time Labour party president Mike Williams, Maori will use the UN Declaration on the Rights of Indigenous Peoples to block the sales and claim ownership of fresh water.
