High flyers involved in tribe's financial downfall

Former 1980s corporate high-flyer David Phillips and Chief District Court judge Jan Marie Doogue are caught up in the financial collapse of  Taranaki tribe Ngati Tama, which blew almost all of its $14.5 million Treaty payout on failed investments.

Also involved are a host of well-known names including Robert Kerridge, Wayne Brown, Tony Falkenstein, Michael Morrissey, Garry Judd (Chief Judge Doogue's husband), Sir Brian Talboys and a host of  St Petersburg-based Russians, mostly women.
