Highly-secure Blackphone hacked in minutes, raising new questions, says Vodafone
When a small team of computer experts quickly broke into the "secure" Blackphone at a recent security conference, everyone asked just how safe the device really is.
The group achieved “root access” – attaining privileged control of the Android system – without having to unlock the phone in under five minutes before loading an Android Debug Device onto the system.
All of this was achieved at the DEF CON conference held in the US last week. The conference, ironically, focuses on computer and mobile security.
