An Auckland real estate agent has been banned for life after the Real Estate Agents Disciplinary Tribunal found her conduct disgraceful.

Agent Jodie Louise Kitto was jailed in May this year for two and a half years on four separate accounts of fraud. She was bankrupted in October 2012.

While her convictions gave an instant ten-year ban as a real estate agent, the disciplinary tribunal extended this to bar Kitto from working in the real estate industry, including in administrative functions, for life.
