Judge queries South Canterbury Finance’s use of stand-in directors

A defence lawyer in the South Canterbury Finance fraud trial has been quizzed over the collapsed company’s use of a stand-in director for an Auckland hotel.

In the Timaru High Court this morning, Justice Paul Heath questioned defence lawyer Marc Corlett several times about the directorship issue as the five-month long trial draws to an end.
