Kiwi software nabs Aussie award
New Zealand not only beat Australia in the netball last night, it took home the top human resource technology title in Australia’s premier HR awards.
Using software from Christchurch-based Pivot Software, global engineering firm Sinclair Knight Merz (SKM) last night won the “Best Overall use of Technology” award at Australia’s HR Leader Compass Awards
“We are absolutely thrilled that SKM has won this award using our software,” said Phillippa Youngman, Pivot Software’s chief executive.
“The introduction of technology to help SKM improve their annual remuneration review process has had a significant impact.”
SKM won the award for their use of Remuneration Ally – specialist software that helps streamline remuneration processes throughout an organisation.
Developed by Pivot Software, Remuneration Ally is used at other large Australian and New Zealand companies such as AECOM, Luxottica, Bankwest, Origin Energy, IAG NZ, The Warehouse, Meridian Energy, New Zealand Post and Westpac NZ.
“Pivot’s Remuneration Ally has enabled our rewards team to help managers make the right decisions, rather than dealing with the actual vehicle of the process,” said Carrie Luzar, group remuneration and global mobility manager, SKM.
“The benefits SKM has received from Remuneration Ally are immeasurable. It's given us more transparency and visibility.
“Managers have all the information they need at their fingertips – they don't have to search through different spreadsheets or the intranet to find anything.”
The HR Leader Compass Awards set a rigorous selection and judging process for entrants, and entries are judged by leading academics and professionals from the HR industry.
