Lanzatech to go public in 2014

 

Biotech company Lanzatech expects to be ready for a potential public offering by 2014 - with sufficient revenue to fund the business until then.

The company has been named one of ten “new energy pioneers” at the fifth annual Bloomberg new energy finance summit in New York – and has signed a contract with New Zealand Steel – for an as-yet undisclosed sum.

LanzaTech develops microbe technology which converts industrial waste gases into valuable chemicals including ethanol, used to make biofuel.
